Princeton Sociology Summer Methods Camp (link)

This week-long refresher course provides incoming Sociology PhD students with the necessary foundation for statistics and methods classes. It is designed to be helpful for students of all backgrounds and experiences. The curriculum covers training in both math (calculus, probability, and matrix algebra) and computing (data wrangling, iteration, and visualization in R).

I created the Princeton Sociology Summer Methods Camp with Rebecca Johnson and Brandon Stewart in 2016 and co-taught it in 2016 and 2017. You can find all of our assignments and course materials on Github.

Undergraduate Teaching

At Princeton, I was a teaching assistant for:

SOC 227: Race and Ethnicity (Fall 2016)

SOC 204: Social Networks (Spring 2017)

SOC 345: Money, Work, and Social Life (Spring 2018)

For SOC 204: Social Networks, I designed a multi-week, student-led project on algorithmic filter bubbles. You can read about the project in this blog post and see the assignments here.
